What is 'Woke?'

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today." ~Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. Washington, D.C. August 28, 1963.
Based on his own words, Dr. King demonstrated that he valued a person's individual character over whatever race to which they happened to belong. This proves that Dr. King was not 'woke!' • Being 'woke' means looking at the world through a lens of oppressor and oppressed, or through left-wing identity politics. • Being 'woke' is the precursor to harmful socialist or Marxist reforms that would upend free and fair societies, expand the state and oppress most or all people — or would oppress specific groups the “woke” see as upholding perceived systemic injustices against minorities. • Being 'woke' is a negative thing. • Being 'woke' encourages ideological conformity and seeks to institute harmful reforms such as upending the traditional family structure, eliminating the gender binary, giving or taking things away from people based on race, opening our borders, defunding the police. • Being 'woke' extols and encourages the murder of babies in the womb and mutilating children to conform to political correctness. • Being 'woke' means refusing to prosecute crimes, re-writing history, eliminating market-based economies, canceling books and movies, and eradicating the American Constitution. To be 'woke' is to hate. Boyd Broadcasting does not condone or participate in hate. Boyd Broadcasting does not participate in 'Woke Politics.' William James Boyd Executive Director Boyd Broadcasting
